Title: Pearl Copperhead Color
Post by: DobynsTriton on 07/03/12 22:00 UTC
just ordered this along with some Green Pumpkin Brown X2 & some other stuff i wanted/was getting low on. My question mainly is about the pearl copperhead.I was wondering is there would be such thing as ''over-kill'' /using too many drops

My experience is there's a point where the depth of color stops and all you are doing is adding plasticizer and wasting color. In other words, yes you can get to the point of adding too much. :)

I have a piece of clear glass I pour a little on then hold it to sunlight . Only takes a minute . Then if I want it darker or more glitter I can add to taste . I'd start with 5 or 6 drops .

Great idea re the glass.  It sure beats pouring a bunch of plastic in a color you're not crazy about.

With the liquid pearls, I have found the amount I typically like in a 1 cup batch is around 10 drops.  Of course, just like most of what we do it all boils down to your preference.
