I see a lot of people posting color photos in this specific style of bait. I'm starting to wonder if these things are super effective?

haven't lake tested it yet,but i have tank tested it & noticed the claws/tenticles float & the claws swim

The wider body slows the fall and displaces water well on the hop.  My PB was 11+ on the Birch Bug, same thing but ribbed.
