what size or types of hooks is every one using on the 4'' big foot swim toad

38 degree bend, 5.0 hook with a bait keeper. Keeps Kermit from tearing off the hook, when the bass strikes. The 5 will allow the hook to go between the frog's legs and rest on the back fully exposed. Not good for really grassy areas, but good for hook up ratios and saves the frog a little more.

ill have to look into those. i have a few frog specific hooks but they can be a pain to use.i LOVE a hook with a screw type keeper

Thats what i use... they are perfect.. i also use a 5/0 and it lays perfectly in the open space of the hook on the back..  Im a big fan of the owber beast hooks..

4/0 twistlock works great. Also perfect for 5" Watzit.

CCM sells them.

I get the Mustad jig hooks and the screw keepers from Barlows and make my own for alot cheaper.
