Title: side by side pictures of colorants
Post by: fish_4_all on 08/27/12 13:26 UTC
I am having a hard time deciding on a few colors between the X2 and the regular colors. Does anyone by chance have the ability to take pictures of the following so I can see them side by side?
Fluor orange in x2 and regular
Fluor Pink in x2 and regular
Purple in x2 and regular

Just right click on the pictures copy them and post them into a paint document or save them and open them all up. I'm at work or I'd do it for you.

The different backgrounds are really throwing me off. I am partially color blind so it is really hard for me to tell. I have tried copying and pasting. So far, I am leaning toward the fl. orange and purple in regular and the fl. pink in the x2 but I want to make sure.

The huge variable is how many drops do you add of each?  It would be tough to compare if you added equal amounts because they are very different strengths.

Then I will just have to get what I think is close. I should be able to mix x2 fl orange and pink and get close if not mix others colors to get the right oranges and pinks.

I will have to send you some of the beads and colors I catch a LOT of salmon and steelhead on and see if you can match them.

The simplest change in shade of the colors can have a huge effect on their effectiveness.

CCM JR is really good at matching colors.  If you want to send him a color I'm sure he'll take his best shot at it.
