Title: melted down some BPS brand sticks
Post by: DobynsTriton on 09/23/12 18:07 UTC
I spent the last 2 days chunking out plastics & melting down the ones that were colors that i wanted to keep to shoot in my molds.I literally only have a hand full of name brand stuff i kept only because i dont have a mold for the type that that are yet. The BPS brand melted down pretty good,I was a little iffy about it since I couldnt tell what was in it scent wise ect.

BPS has their baits shot in Eufala, Alabama (most of them, some are made in China).   Factory uses Calhoun's plastic.

Those have an awesome color! I bet they would work for sea bass out here on the coast.

Good use of old baits, I will have to see if any of mine will melt down from years of collecting them.
