What model carrot sticks are the guys here having the most success with for largemouth? I'm currently using a 5" senko and a 6.5" cut tail both fished weightless. I'm looking at the 5" regular and skinny and the 6" regular and skinny. I have a sample of the 5" skinny, 5" regular, and 6" skinny. I don't have a 6" regular. Is the 6" regular the same diameter as the 5" regular? I'm looking for two molds to cover my bases and was thinking maybe 5" skinny and 6" regular. I would be fishing them mostly weightless. Opinions? Any success or favorites? Later on I would like to add the 6" finesse for wacky dropshot.

The guys we sell too fish it as a jerkbait a lot. With it being extremely flexible it darts and dives like bait fish and the big fish just cant reseist.

IMO.. If you are mainly going to fish weightless go with 5 & 6 regular.. I would go skinny if you were going to dropshot.

I found that the 4" and 5" carrots does it for me there in South Africa. The fish just seem to love this lure.
I was fishing with a friend of mines boy and we were sight fishing. The fish would refuse Speed Craws/Flukes and anything else we chucked at them. The minute you putt the Carrot fished weightless infront of them, they would be all over the bait.
Favourite colors and Junebug Candy/ Baby Bass/Watermelon Red Pearl

I love the five skinny. Throw it on a shaky all the time. But Drew sent me a some six skinny and some fours. And man those dogs will hunt.

Try it rigged wacky with the flat part of the tail horizontal to the ground. It will swim left or right also. Really good if you are trying to work isolated cover.

6" Skinny is my favorite for Wacky. Regular 5" for jerk, 6" regular for bigger more erratic jerk or as a big Texas Rig or Wacky bait.
I get a lot of really good feedback and pics on the 5" Skinny, I just prefer the 6" Skinny (same was true for me when I fished Senkos).

I believe the 5" Regular is a little smaller diameter than the 6" regular.
Jason ( or others ); Please correct me if I am wrong.

As usual, you are correct.

Most of the wacky style fishing I do is with a 5" pro senko on a dropshot. So, I think I'm going to try the 6" regular for weightless, 5" skinny for shakey, and the 6" finesse to replace my beloved 5" pro senko.

I also fish the 6" skinny wacky rigged and it helped put us in 4th place at a club tourny recently. I also like to fish the 6" skinny on a shaky head. That bait is fantastic. I hve not fished the other carrots so I can't really chime in there.
