Title: Having a problem with the Red in Red Shad!
Post by: pourhousebaits on 10/28/12 09:06 UTC
Does anyone have a Killer Recipe for the Red in the Red Shad color? I dont have any real problems with other colors, but this one is giving me fits, for some reason and I,m tired of wasting plastic. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Use mica powder (red) in the red Shad colorant. I'm using mf colorant. 90 drops for 8oz

I use Bears Candy Apple Red and some auto pearl powder to create this red:

X2 on the red hi-lite powder.  A little bit goes a long way so I would start with a smidgen added to your red, and go from there.
