Title: sticking pinchers
Post by: jeffhill on 03/09/11 16:48 UTC
Does anyone have a suggestion on what type of worm oil to use? I am having trouble with my pinchers sticking together on my craws.

Thanks, Jeff

I get mine from MF, pretty cheap and haven't had any problems.

Thanks guys. The label on the stuff I have is worn almost completely off, so I'm assuming its really old but I didn't figure worm oil could go bad. Guess I was wrong.  :)

Thanks again, Jeff

I dont think it could go bad, but I know after putting it in bags with baits either the baits suck up the oil or it evaporates from the bags. Because in a couple of days mine are not dry but very close to being dry, I am using LC oil.

Use a few drops of scent and kill 2 birds with one stone.

Scent will lube them and give you some attraction.

I like mf's scented worm oil. I add it when I bag my unsalted baits. They'll soak up a fair bit of it. If they soak it all up I add a little more. It really seems to help keep my baits from getting deformed in storage. + Fish will hold on for a long time.
