Here is the new 4.75" Smokin' Shad. It is 3/4" at it's tallest and just over 1/2" at it's widest. It has a hook slot and tapers to a traditional swim bait boot tail. They eyes are recessed allowing them to be glued in, or put in place and dipped in clear plastic.
The mold is extremely easy to shoot and produces a great bait. The action is awesome. Poured in the Regular Crystal Clear formula the bait rocks gently back and forth while the tail dances from side to side.
We recommend using 8 mm eyes on this bait.

The other baits that made the xmas list will be released early next year.
Please note the change in our holiday schedule. We've had to close a couple days earlier than anticipated to make sure we have time to get all the orders out before we truly shut down for the holidays. You can place orders during this time, but only orders received prior to December 15th will ship (they will ship by Dec. 18th). Orders placed after the 15th will start shipping January 2nd.
We have one last exciting thing to share before Christmas, but it will have to wait until Friday. 2013 is going to be an extremely exciting time.
Have a Merry Christmas!
Tight lines,
Jason, Diane, Andrew and Alex

Another great design, Thanks Jason,------ MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family..........

Awesome!!! Is the new mold laid out the same way as the 3.75" where you have to use a twin injector to get the two color lures?

hey jason
is this a hinged mold?
I noticed some of the mold pics dont look hinged... are you getting away from hinged molds?
thanks
Brian

It's not hinged. We aren't going away from hinges, I just don't put them on every mold if it's easier to work with without the hinge.

I like the dark color on the second picture. Jason, would you mind sharing the recipe?

That's one of Junior's colors:
X2 Colorant:
For the belly put 2 drops of amber in 1/2 a cup of plastic.
For the body put 4 drops of pumpkin seed, 5 drops brown, and 3 drops black, with 1/8 of a teaspoon .035 black glitter (1 cup plastic).

Jason,
How did CCM Jr. pour that brown with Amber bait with the mold laid out like it is? It looks like he poured the belly then injected the back, but I can't see how with the mold cut as it is?

I was wondering the same. I would love a side profile mold as well, like the 2 cavity 4.5inch Swim Shad. I love my throats, bellies and backs all different colors! Is that possible, maybe even as a custom order?

looks like he layed it to where the belly was facing down & the spru was on the side & injected enough to fill the belly then shot over it after clearing the spru. this mold is on my list as i see theres not really any spru waste if i twinject it

Love the look of the new swimbait.
Great job Jason

He used a blending block to make the laminates.
We will offer one in the near future, nothing revolutionary, but a solid solution for molds configured this way.
