Title: Punch/Flippin Weights

Can you pour tungsten? Well either way a 1/2, 3/4, 1oz, 1 1/2oz mold would be sweet. Fish them a lot, they get pricey!

Greetings, Kyle.  The melting point of tungsten is 6,191 degrees Fahrenheit.  Lead melts at 621.5 degrees Fahrenheit, and it is not rare, as Tungsten is.  This would be the main factor in pricing- rarity, and virtually impossible to melt at home in order to form, even if it were not a rare metal.

I saw where there is a company selling rock weights...guess they could be used in some applications...could see it working in deeper water, offshore.

Yeah I have a couple packs of those, they are Rockybrook Weights. Really big, a weight that would normally weigh 3/4oz in lead is the same size but only weighs maybe 1/4oz. It works for dropshot and really light stuff, but anything over 1/4oz gets out of hand, talking 2oz lead sizes. Just too much for me.
