Hey guys this might be for Jerry but if you know I'm all ears I bought the SMJ-3-MF Weedless Casting Jig and to my pleasant surprise it has eye sockets which I don't see any info on as far as what size I need the pic on netcraft's site shows it without eyes so I assume this was a new addition to the mold, any ideas on size?

The do-it catalog says Size 2 or 1/8 for the 5/16 and 3/8 jigs. Size 2.5 or 5/32 for the 1/2 jig. Everyone should get a do-it catalog, there is a lot of useful in formation in it, plus I circle all the molds I have so I don't get mixed up when buying new molds. I just did a catalog count. I have 113 do-it molds!

If you go to www.do-it.com you can download a copy of their catalog.

I only check my mail a couple times a week and yesterday was that day. I was weak kneed as I pulled out Bass Anglers Magazine, Barlow's 2013 catalogue, and Do-it's 2012 -2013 catalogue. I had visions of sugar plums dancing in my head. It was like an angler's vision of Nirvana. I tippy toed much like a ballerina the couple hundred yards back to the house. The neighbors turned their heads so as not to embarrass me.
I started with the TOC of BAM just to see what was what. It was a local magazine that just went national. Good read. I then started on Do-It's catalogue and I couldn't put it down. I think I had tears running down my face. They actually market a RCBS Pro-Melt lead melter. Paul and I "talked" about that unit a year ago and I covet it. He swears by it. I visualize myself wearing a Do-It t-shirt while pouring jigs and then quickly changing into my CCM t-shirt when pouring some craws. I finally flipped out when I cut down Do-It's catalogue to fit inside my bible for this morning's services.
The straw that broke the camel's back was when Gary said that he had 113 molds. I thought I was on Do-It's red carpet list with 25. Oh, Man.
On a serious note...can you imagine when the next Do-It catalogue comes out with all the CCM stuff. Can't wait.

Musky I bow to you brother. 113 molds, wow ! I've made jigs for a lot of years now and I have molds that I have dremeled and reconfigured to make my own little creation that no one else has. I would love to go through your collection. I bet it's full of goodies. I'm like you. I never sell any. They take way to long to make. I give some to friends as Christmas presents. I pretty much have one guy I tournament fish with and he and I like to think outside the box. Other guys know we're doing this and are always trying to sneak a peak. We just laugh because we know they're doing the same thing. Sure does make this a fun sport.
And now we have plastic !!!!! I very very new at this but this could be endless.
