VERY nice looking jigs Justin... What hook is it that you put in the Shakey Head?
That middle pic is pretty darn cool... You gotta admit, they look very nice together, huh? A fish catching machine if I've ever seen one.
Nice work,
Jerry

Which jig is the bottom one?
-
If I had to guess, it looks like the Poison Tail Jig to me.
-
Good goin' Justin. Nice looking jig.
-
Yes poison tail. 3/8. I have not fished it yet. But man it looks good. Denny put be on to them after I got one from him in the swap.
Jerry that hook is a mustad 38109bln. 45deg bend but with the Ewg I fits great in a 60 deg spot. I all so use that hook in the football that uses a 60 deg hook.

NICE... I think I've got some of those in the shop. I'll have to take a look. Did you need to modify the mold at all or does it work as is?
-
No mod needed. In the shaky head mold you can't cast side by side the hook hit each other but other then that no problem
-
That is usually the problem with the wide gap hooks in a mold designed for round bend... they cram as many cavities in the mold as they can and they are close together. The hook point of one runs into the next with a wide gap hook. A lot of times I'm only pouring one size anyway. But it kinda sucks if you want to pour two sizes that are next to each other.
Now you got me going down stairs to see if I can find those hooks...
Thanks.

I hope to have pics tomorrow with those hanging out if a fishes mouth as long as the waters not hard. Sixty degrees tomorrow in Indiana can't pass that up.

Hey Justin very nice work, question is it the pic or are your weed guards multi colored it looks like the black and blue jig has a black and blue gaurd? If so did you pick them up at elkinlures? I had been looking for a wide gap in the 60 degree and here all along the 45 will work thanks for the tip!
-
Yes those are multi color guards. Barlow tackle is where I got them. They have several multi color ones. Really sets a jig off. Gotta give dreamer little credit he talked me in to the multi color guards.

Yeah they do I like them alot guess another order is about due :D
