Title: A while back....
Post by: ctom on 01/14/13 20:41 UTC
...someone asked me to post a pic of the X2 fluorescent transparent orange and pink colors. Here they are.

Both are from batches of plastic that have 15 drops of the respective color in 6 ounces of plastic. 15 drops of stabilizer and 10 drops of UV enhancer are also in each cup. I used these two as fire-tail colors in some paddletailed worms and they look like they are too hot to handle.

Using the old formula colors, I had to use 155 drops of the orange and 180 drops of the pink in a 6 ounce cup to get this kind of bold color. If either of these colors needs to be bolder than shown, I dip just the tip of a bamboo skewer in NB Red X2 and blend it in well.

While these colors are not having any, red hi lites in the pink and gold or orange in the orange give each color a super degree of depth.

This pretty much makes the extra cost of the same size bottle a no brainer for this boy. On my crappie and walleye plastic I want color that jumps out and grabs ya. The X2 delivers.

I have both of these in X2 as well.  2-4 drops/oz of plastic is what I use for the flourescents.  Other x2 colors, 1-2 drops seems sufficient.

These look great Tom, what's the body color on the pink one?  That combo would make a rad 7" ribbon tail, or twister tail grub, or any number of other baits!

The angle of the body sort of messes with the color on the pink ones....its a X2 purple with violet hi lite and some CCr purple glitter.
