My ccm stabilizer has always had a tint to it compared to say the worm oil.

I think remember Jason commenting on it a while back in a video that they got it as clear as possible but it still has a slight tint compared to other things like softener or worm oil

That could be very true, I don't know those details...

But when it comes to stabilizers, glitters, colorants etc... We are very likely still shipping inventory that was moved here from Texas, and we don't have any plans on changing suppliers in the future.  Not a lot has, or will, change as it pertains to the products you're used to getting from Caney Creek Molds.  It just ships from a different location and is packaged by some different folks...

(trust me... some of them are "different")  just kiddin'

My two bottles ( purchased at different times ) also have a tint to them; but not nearly as "tinted" as the ice in the "Jason ice fishing" photos.

I think that tint resulted from a rather extensive algai bloom we had this summer on that pond due to the drought... the "green" tint in the water looks pretty "yellow" under the blue ice fishing tent.

I haven't seen thousands of bottles of stabilizer (but will given time I'm sure) but every bottle I've seen has an amber tint too it.

It's the same stuff, same as it's always been.  If you use so much that it is changing the color of even clear plastic you are going to have bigger problems then color...  A little goes a long ways as long as you aren't abusing your plastic.

Nope...probably don't use enough. Just thought the bottles I got last week looked a bit darker than product before.

Hmmm....got this PM from a member of the forum this evening. I knew the color was different...probably no big deal, but a valid question i believe.

"FL Grimp, I got a pint of stabilizer about 2 weeks ago from CCM that is about the color of fresh motor oil. I still have a little of my old stuff that is as clear as a bell, and am nervous to use the new stuff with clear baits, like firecracker and others. It is not the same, or the stuff they had changed colors, which is possible too. I send this in a PM, because I don't want them to think I am fanning the flames, but I agree with you, it is more than a little off clear"
