Title: Question about do-it shipping
Post by: DobynsTriton on 01/21/13 19:14 UTC
I ordered a Lee Production pot & I have the UPS tracking & it works (says 2 days left) BUT I also have a postal service ID that doesnt work when i type it in on the USPS site. So who will be delivering it?

It was likely shipped through a UPS service called "sure post"...  This service has UPS picking up a package from Do-It and taking it to your local Postal Officials for final delivery.  It probably doesn't register with the postal authorities yet as they haven't scanned it into their system.  My guess is that your shipment is still in the hands of UPS.  Their projected delivery dates for this service are pretty accurate depending on the efficiency of your local Postal Service.

Something I found out when a did a gun stock for someone and it got lost :-[   usps uses ups and fedex, also dhl uses the usps. SO your tracking info may show up at sometime. USPS does not require items to be scanned at every stop. I have had a few that only scanned when they were shipped and when they were delivered but nowhere in between. ???

X2 just had an order delivered that way when ups hands it off to usps their tracking begins, and it was on time.
