Title: Funky email

Got an email from somebody in regards to the mold I'm trading in the sale trade section.  It didn't come through here, but came directly to my email askingfor my email address so they could send me some pictures.  Kinda funky.  Just thought I would make people aware, might be one of those scammers.  Ain't been scammed before and don't want to have a first.  Joey

Checked the members on the forum, and it wasn't anyone that is registered either.

Why would they send you an Email asking for your Email address?  Does sound really odd to me as well.  Could be a shotgun approach to fish for your email address.  If it was me I would not respond; especially if they did not show all the recipients email addresses.
