Yes Sir, it's getting close. If You have time, go through everything...tackle boxes- make sure everything's in place, present, accounted for...rods and reels- clean and lube reels, rods, check and clean guides...make sure batteries are charged and in working order, top-off with distilled water if they're non-sealed...outboards- 4-strokes, make sure oil is good in the head and lower unit, 2-strokes, lower unit oil...gas- make sure You're not working with old gas, and get the Sta-bil, SeaFoam is a very good additive for gasoline, as well.
Go through everything when You can make time...anchor and anchor rode/rope, rags, toilet paper (in a ziploc!), check navigation lights and trailer lights/plugs/connections, mooring/tie-up lines, bow line, any gauges on instrument panels, fuel lines and filters, make sure all fishing line is in good condition, any steering gear, trailer winch and it's cable/rope, lube trailer tongues' moving parts, check spare tires, check main and spare props and their nuts/fasteners, make sure You have a few tools onboard, PFD's/life jackets, fire extiguisher if required, emergency flares if possible...

How about a teaser. Hint.

Brother, it could be anything...we aren't about knocking off a bait or introducing something on a whim. I'm sure there are things that Jason has had in the works for a year or more, and I don't know that we've even touched on a many non Bass/Crappie species baits much yet. The door is wide open. There will be good stuff coming and you can rest assured that it will be posted here first. 8)

Roger that, BKJ. Most of my baits are made for the upcoming season. The boat is pretty much ready to go. Now it's time for my least favorite job of the off season, servicing, and respooling my reels. Blah.---Tim.

You and me both brother. I'll put off cleaning those reels till the night before I go fishing just about every year. And I don't know why. It's an important part of getting ready for the season but I hate it. The good thing is I still have about four weeks before I have to worry about it. :P
