Title: Big foot
Post by: Bassman2169 on 02/27/13 09:30 UTC
What size do you guys like?  Thinking bout the four inch.  Do you have good success with the floating foam for getting a floating frog?  I use hollow frogs plenty and if I could make a softy that floats well, I'm in.  Thanks for advice and opinions, Joey

I have the 4" and it's great.  I think the 4.5" would be good too.  So far I don't worry about making them float, I bring them in just fast enough to stay on the surface and a pause to let them sink will often trigger a strike if a fish is following but not hitting (which is rare).  There are situations that a floating frog could be useful, but those instances are rare enough that I haven't made the foam a priority.

I'm thinking about the 4 inch as well. Anyone want to give me about a grand in mold money? ;)
