is there a temp that plasticol should be stored at or be at before being used.the reason for asking is this morning i poured out 1oz and heated to prepare to try a new color mix.after heating it up to the proper temp,it was full of tiny bubbles.ive never seen this before,or had this before.the only thing that comes to mind that im doing differently is i moved my little operation to my boat garage and out of the house. the temp in there is 43 at this posting.i took the temp of the plasticol and it was at 40.5.im assuming this is my problem.can someone help me out here?thanks.

sounds like you over cooked it, one ounce is such a small amount to heat that your cook times should be reduced accordingly.

The little bubbles is water vapor....something I don't have to worry about in the Winter in Minnesota!
Dry you cup really well...then give it 30 secs or so in the microwave to drive off any water vapor. During the summer I have to preheat my cup...not anything to do with the plastic...but to make sure it is dry.
I'm not aware that the temperature of the plastic would make a difference.
One of the advantages of the CCM plastic is the plastic bag that deflates as you remove plastic...and not allowing humid air in.If you are using plastic from a bottle make sure you keep the cap on as much as possible.

I would bet it had some humidity due to you moving from the house,a controlled environment, to the shed. But that's just a guess.

Being from the land of high humidity that is most likely your issue. I don't have any issues with the CCM plastic in the bag but my measuring cups must be preheated on days. Try those and your problems should go away.
