Post your best Caney Creek Pours here, up to 5 entries (Nov. 1 - 30th). We will vote on them the first week of December. I will post some pics as well, however I am not in the contest.

First one I call black with disco blue craws, 3" Mad Dad

After several mid level tournament anglers and a couple Elite series pros asked for a Bluegill frog (like Fred Roumbanis used to win an Elite Series event last year), this is what I came up with. The belly is pearl white with an orange spot and light blue spot in front. Body of frog is a watermelon/smoke pearl blue color with orange, purple, blue and black flake as shown.

That's a cool color - it turns brown in the water. We have it as well, if you look at our colorants you can see an example of what it looks like with less colorant - more of a purple, but it still changes in the water. Crayfish does something along the same lines. Another cool color (it was new to me) is Blue Crawfish. I don't like the color out of the water, but in the water it looks really good, and most important the fish seem to really like it!
Here's the Blue Crawfish:

Looks good, want to share the recipe?

Here is my second bait... Black Banded Frog... Fish seem to like laminate colors due to the contrast so i thought why not try 3 colors. Frog has a light lime green back, black band and pearl white belly. Wish I could get better pic! >:(

I wish it was something special and I could take credit for creating something super cool but it's just Blue Crawfish with Emerald, Turquoise and Black flake. I don't know how to describe how it looks in the water other than it's the same as the blue / green color crawfish have on them.
I did shoot it today using the foil trick and did half that color and half purple. It turned out pretty cool. I'll take a pic and post it when I get a chance.

Ghostbaits, your frogs really are just unbelievable.. it looks more like a work of art than a fishing lure!

Ok... This might be my last frog bait as my last entry may be a MD 3XL... I call this one Sweet Frog. It has a red throat, green eyes, lime green bottom and green pumpkinish top....
I really like this one!!!

OK... This is my final one.. :'(
Decided to post up my favorite catching color in the MD3 XL.... I call it Green Pumpkin Purple Haze.... The blending block I use laminates these baits perfectly, even in the thin claws....

Hey Jim is it the blending block from bass tackle your using?
-
Yes the blending block I use is from BT.
It is flawless and regardless of what you hear, it is the best out there, hands down. Be sure to get the full set-up, with the injectors, and you will be able to make anything you want in as laminate bait, one shot.
