Title: Scorched Plastic???

I've been saving my scrap plastic and decided that black covers up everything, so I added copious amounts of x2 Blake (5-8 drops) to turn it all black. I noticed a sticky texture and burnt rubber smell. Is that from too much color or did I cook it too much? Then does this smell adversely effect the performance of the bait?

Sounds like you cooked it too long. Personally, I would throw it away as it will not be good quality plastic.
