Title: Pro style fishing jerseys?
Post by: wubbawurm63 on 03/14/13 23:24 UTC
Does anyone know where I can find someone to make some Pro style tournament jerseys to put my company logo and sponsors on? Giving my company image a facelift.                                                                                                                                                                                             Bob

only thing extra that will cost is if you have a logo thats not in vector format. they charge a one time fee to put a logo in vector. zipper costs like $5 i think.. they have numbered spots all you do is type the logo/company in. theres a special instruction box too to fine tune stuff

I just ordered mine from i2icustom.com 15 day or less turn around time.
And if you are a BBC member (bassboatcentral.com) you get a huge discount.
I just ordered 2 jerserys and a hoodie for under $200 (shipping included) with my company and sponsor logos.
Talk to Myla and tell her I sent you!
Here is what mine is going to look like.

I'm on my old school cel so I can't see pics without going to Full Version which makes things move as slow as obama's 2nd term, but I'm lookin' forward to checkin' out You guys' custom Jersies.

If things turn around in my world (as has been mentioned), I wonder what people would think if they saw me sportin' a BareKnuckleJigs jersey, fishin' in my 8-footer, Minn Kota trimmed up lookin' TOUGH!  LoL!

Dern, that makes me want a jersey.  I would be self sponsered though.  Custom fishing rod logo on the right side, custom lure logo on the left, my farm and construction company on the back.  Probably have to put my wifes name on there somewhere too, since she "lets" me fish tournaments.  If anybody wanted to sponsor me, there would be plenty of room for your logo!  Joey

BKJ, I think the looks they give you would not compare to the looks they have when they look at your weigh in!

BKJ -  Don't forget the wrap job!!  Gotta have the wrap, man. And a power pole as well.

Sorry 'bout taking so long to reply here.  We've been busy and I've only had short opportunities to post...

Wubba...roger on'na weigh-in.  I do know that most Bass Guys that compete know alot more than I do, so to really buck myself up enough to fish against them, I'd have to consider proportions rather than actual weight.  My livewell (stringer hanging over the side) and it's occupants would probably be WAY bigger in-comparison to those guys' bags that are fishin' in those big/fast/nice/sparkley boats, so proportionately they wouldn't stand a chance.

Mr. Paul...I totally agree on the Wrap, but who could sponsor me (without laughing) if I'm throwing custom tackle and don't have room for an internal combustion outboard?  Maybe Minn Kota...?  And do they make Manual Power Poles?  (insert lowered eyebrows)

EZ...I'll try to remember to take some pics of my Rig since You'd like to see my Tourney Set-Up, and I'll also make an effort to get some pics of it in action.  If they come out with a Minn Kota 4-stroke SHO, I'll update the pics in the Gallery accordingly.
Title: Re: Pro style fishing jerseys?....Manual Power Pole...
Post by: andrewlamberson on 03/21/13 15:45 UTC
I made some manual Power Poles for my boat!

Just take a 7' GEOTEK FIBERGLASS ELECTRIC FENCE POST (used for horse/cows) and drill a small hole through the middle of the pole at the top.  Thread some duck decoy cord through the hole (use it to tie off to a cleat) and then dip the top end into Tool Handle Dip so you don't get fiberglass splinters when you're pushing the pole into the mud/sand. If you want to get really fancy, get some replacement handles for a ATV and epoxy them on the pole!

And you have a perfectly functional, "manual Power Pole" ...more commonly known as a "Pin Anchor"  for under $10 !

Duck tape - Andrew - Duck tape.
BKJ - With electric cars now fighting for position with big overpowered gas vehicles; you could have the electric boating alternative to big overpowered gas powered boats.  Probably get some sort of governmental assistance / grant for it.  Especially if you had a solar powered battery charger.  That would pay for the wrap ( and the manual power pole ).  Pull it with a Prius.

I actually bought a small Solar Panel to charge the battery while fishing but I have to rework that system.  You had me all the way up until "Prius"...  ...  ...I mean, how can I tote my boat with a Prius?  Strapping it to the top of the "car" would probably require me to have a Pilots License, and could You see the trailer?!  Pfff!

Mr. Andy, I've considered the Stick It 8', but my current anchor system is pretty clever and works very well.  Growing up, my Dad built a "stick pole" out of a piece of aluminum pipe, put a "duck bill" on one end and we were in business.  That thing even floated.  I do like the Stick It's, though.

And MO...sorry 'bout the Burnin' Rings of Coffee.  I REALLY apologize.  I'm a dedicated Coffee Drinker myself.  Did it make it kick-in any faster?
