i've replicated a lucky craft pointer 78 and was wondering if anyone knows were to get stenciles for painting them.
-
Hey Sisco, did you recreate the lure out of wood or plastic? I would love to see it!
You can create stencils out of many things, depending on what your going for.
If your trying to create a stencil that you can place of the entire bait to create the same pattern over and over you can get "stencil blank(s)" from Hobby Lobby. You can also find a ton of vids on YT.
I learned from:
DakotaLakesTackle.com
If you can give me a bit more detail on what your trying to do I may be able to give you some advice, I will be uploading some new paint pics to the gallery today/tonight that I have been working on.
If Rick ever finds this post I hope he chimes in, I am but a young Padawan compared to his Jedi abilities.

I MADE A MOLD FROM SILICON (OF A ORIGINAL POINTER 78) AND I USED URITHANE PLASTIC, I'M NOT SURE HOW TO POST PICTURES ON HERE (I'VE HERD IT'S KINDA HARD TO DO) I JUST REMOVED THE HOOKS AND O-RINGS AND LEFT THE O-RING CONNECTORS IN PLACE SO I WOULD KNOW WERE TO PUT THE WIRE HARNESS TO REPLACE THE HOOKS,THEY WORK JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL..........OH AND IF YOU TRY IT POP THE EYES BALLS OUT SO YOU'LL HAVE A NICE RECESS TO ADD NEW EYE BALL

You cam buy genuine clear Luckcraft baits directly from Japan I'm not sure if they also sell stencils as well, here's a link to the luckycraft site in Japan
