Post your best 5 fish from Nov 1 - 30 caught on a Caney Creek bait. Please include pictures, weight and what you caught it on (and any other details you want to share). Prizes will be awarded the first week of December for the largest 5 fish stringer (you or your friends / customers) submit and to the largest fish. Details are in the tournament post. Below I will keep a tally of the fish as they come in.
12/1/2010 UPDATE: Sorry I didn't keep this updated. I will post the winner in a new thread. Thank you to all who entered. We will run another in the Spring!
Tight lines!

Had about 3 hours to get out today (Sat) so I went to a local lake to fish. We just had a hard cold front move in and the skies were blue. You know what that means!! TOUGH!!!
Anyway, I went flipping with the MD 3XL. Hit the few mats available and teamed with a 1oz tungsten weight, I caught 3 fish, missed one...
Had a 1.5, 2.13 and big fish 4.15 to total 10lbs even.... I used green pumpkin with the claws dipped in chartreuse.
Got some pics on my cell phone I will load up on Monday. Not great shots as I was alone.
Headed to another lake to get 5 tomorrow. Hope the fish cooperate as I doubt these 3 will hold up!

Hi Jim,
We had the same thing here - Blue Bird skies... Didn't get a bump until the sun started going down.
You know it is your 5 best fish for the month, and that it is a team event, your customers or friends fishing our baits that you made are on your team. You can cull. If this wasn't clear in the original post let me know and I will try and be clearer.
Can't wait to see the pics. Taking pictures by yourself if tough. I caught a 5lb the other day, took a picture of it with me holding it away from myself and it looks like a 2. If they aren't to fired up I try and lay them on the ground. In the boat if I have my point and click I use the timer.

Same conditions again today. >:( We hit a private lake and surprise, surprise... the fish did bite again. Nothing huge but my son's friend did get a 5.1 on a spinnerbait. We had a littel mini tourney and they caught 4 fish and I caught 5. All fish on spinnerbaits today though. I fished a jig with the MD 3Xl on it for a while but after they put me down 3-0, I had to get with the program ;D.
10-4 on that clarification Jason. I dind't know that so I guess I can proceed to flip up a few more that are hopefully around that 4.15 size. 5 of those would be nice!
I will carry the camera but always seem to screw those timer shots up. Will post up pic of the 4.15 tomorrow.

I didn't go out yesterday but a couple of my neighbors did and they said the bite was off. They caught a few small ones on baits that imitate shad. I was working on a new mold, turned out pretty cool. I'm going to give it a go today and see how the action is.

Here is the 4.15 I flipped up on the MD 3 XL... Hard to get a good shot when it is just me in the boat. Still can't figure the darn timer thing out good!! DUH!!!

I'm going to make time this weekend to wet a line. I may not be able to win the prize but I can sure try to bag some bragging rights!

Well, I didn't fare to well. I waited to long and only got to fish for a little over an hour before the weather got bad. I did get a couple around 2 lbs. on the Boss Hog. I'll post a pick when I find my phone ;D.
Your still Mr. November Jim!

I put in a couple of hours the evening on Nov. 8 at my favorite stock pond and came up with a 17 inch 4 pound Bass. This one hit a 4.5 frog almost as soon as the frog hit the water. The moon was about 50% but very overcast so it got rather dark. As soon as I can figure out how to load a photo I will get it loaded.

Well, I didn't have a ton of time to fish today, so I thought I would make the most of it and jump right in. Actually it was more of a fall than a jump. Here's the video of the culprit.

Bet that was a quick exit from the water! What did she weigh?
Took the boys (4!!!!) with me to a private lake yesterday for a couple hours. I ended up catching 30+ fish but only 2 on a CCM bait. One was a squeaker and the other was 5.5, pictured below.... Got this brute on a MD 3XL texas rigged with a 1/16oz wieght. I need to take a picture of these fish sideways as their midsections are thick...By the afternoon, the fish had moved up to the banks of this lake trying to feast on baitfish. It was 82 and the water warmed good. Boys caught good as well but went riding the Mule through the forest and goofing off as much as fishing. Only delay was mudfish (bowfin) ate a SKT 2.5 crankbait so far down we had to do SERIOUS surgery on it to get the crank back. Bowfin was at least 12lbs...
Add this 5.5 to my previous 3 fish to give me 15.5.... Still need to get to the big fish lake before the contest ends and add on another 5+..... ;D

I didn't weigh her but probably right around 3. We had just pulled up on this spot and I know there were some quality fish there. This was the first one I pulled out before I went for a swim. After that we were pretty much done. Hard telling what my swan dive did but I doubt it started a feeding frenzy. There may not have been a fish within a mile after all the racket.
