The 1.75" carrots need no opinions. They are great right out of the package. I've gotten several to try from members here and am now looking at the mold myself down the line.

Yep... You need another mold Tom.  That's exactly what you need alright, another mold.  8)

I hear you there Tom, it's hard to get a Purchase Order for these things sometimes...  I try to tell her that a person wouldn't go golfing with just one club right.  A man has to have the correct tools to go fishing too.  You wouldn't want to tee off with a putter all the time now would you?

That works maybe once... twice tops if you space it out a bit.

Can't beat that bait for crappies, white bass and big bluegills.

When I first got that bait I posted a question on how I should rig it...flat tail, tail up/dn and someone posted...."at an angle so that the bait darts around". Turns out...all 3 work super!

I've done well with this bait as a drop shot as well as on a jig head  under a bobber when it's windy.

It's also an easy bait to do laminates or put in a sheet of aluminum and shoot 1/2 a bait in black with some softener and you have a good leech.

I've had that mold for a month or so and I love it.  It's simple to pour and, like Andy said, you can do some pretty creative things with it.  I don't think you can go wrong with it.

Ive had the mold since Xmas(thanks to the wife) I love it, it gives a larger profile than the Fry's. I like to shoot them as a group and I have a Plano 3700 set up with the 1.75 Carrot, then the 1.75 Fry, 2,5 Fry and a Crappie Dancer, each row will have a different color. I also have a box set up with GLOWS. ;)

The mold shoot flawless.

As far as rigging I have also played around, flat tail, vertical tail, backwards. I will have to try the angle thing. I also like to use small tube jig heads in all the baits giving it a different action.

Don't forget the 2.5 Inch aspect of the mold.   A head / tail laminate is a very effective bait.
