Title: Cali Oil or Gold Rush... idk
Post by: jsnyd86 on 05/09/13 17:05 UTC
As the description in the gallery says. I wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of all you. Saved me time and money.

This is my first mold from the wutz it mold. Go big or go home I guess. It's super easy to shoot and also easy to make 3 color laminates. hand pour back, hand pour belly and inject the middle. I had some issues with the back not welding (melting) itself with the center. Maybe because I added HD to it? Putting HD in the top portion of the bait probably wasn't the best idea but I wanted to add weight without ruining my clear color.

top: black
middle: black with small and medium size gold flake
bottom: clear with small gold flake.

Image isn't working for me so here's the link. It's a mummichog inspired color for the snakeaheads around here. We get pretty muddy water and I'm told the snakehead target the mummichog... along with everything else that moves.

That's a great looking bait. I love the color combo you got put together in this one.

thank guys.
Note to self. Putting HD in the top color does mess up the action of the bait. Wont be doing that again.
