Title: Wutz-It - Hook Slot or No Hook Slot

Which do you prefer?

Personally I prefer the hook slot on fluke style baits. My thoughts are that the less plastic I have to pull the hook through the better. Just my  2¢.

As I understand the design.  If you are planning to fish the bait on a "worm style hook",  then the hook slot is the better choice.  If you are planning to fish the bait on a jig head, then the solid ( no hook slot ) is the better choice.  Originally the bait was offered as a hook slot bait.  Several fishermen adapted it and used the bait on jig heads.  For the hook to "sit right" and have more purchase, the "no hook slot" bait option was created.
