Mustad makes a wide gap crappie jig that is supposed to work ok in mold meant for the 570/575 hooks. Has anyone ever tried them? If so, how did you like them?

I've never tried that hook, Mr. Tom, but if a Black Nickel version was available, I'd have a few hundred.

I'm tinkering with the idea of ordering a package each of 4 and 6 to try. I have a ton of sickle hooks but I'm always dinging with something and it might as well be these wide gap hooks.

Here s what is use this is a #4 sickle next to a 4 and 6 wide gap I like the wide gap more than the sickle for strength and barb but i think the wide gap hooks tend to be over all larger I hope this helped

Oh yea i forgot To answer the question yes they work great in those molds :D
-
Thanks Mo. The proof is in the pic and I'll pass. They are larger than I want. I appreciate the pic Bud!

I have used them also. They will fit in the molds perfect. But you may have to put them in every other other slots due to the wide gap in them
