I picked 3 gallons of green beans last night and got them in the freezer. This morning I picked 10 quarts of raspberries. Some will see a shortcake later today, some will see the freezer and some will end up as raspberry/jalepeno jam. LKots of beans and berries yet to ripen so it apears that this will be a great season. My tomato plants are approaching 4 feet high right now and are loaded with blooms and green fruits.
I have dicovered a local woodchuck enjoying my plants so today traps went out in the garden. The rifle is loaded and next to the garage door as well. Nothing looks as nice as a dead woodchuck.

They probably also make a good pot roast too.

Woodchuck Pot Roast? right... it doesn't get much better than that all right. ???

I found the sucker's den hole. Traps are littering his entry and exit. As soon as the hair falls off his rotten carcass I'll forward the critter to you Denny. Do you prefer UPS or FED-ex? You can let us know how the roast turns out.

Thanks Tom. I'd prefer Overnight / Express. My address is 501 North State Street, Denver, IA. 50622
