When Ma's away I have to do all this domestic stuff around the house.....empty the de-humidifier, do my laundry, wash my own dishes, cook my own meals, yada, yada, yada. These things sure get in the way of relaxation.
Did the dishes, did the laundry and got it hung out, mowed the yard and the portion of park land I do voluntarily. It ain't even 11 yet and I need a nap.
Gotta go pay some bills and then the day reverts to being mine. At least that's how I figure it. I'm not answering the phone if Ma's number shows up because she's great for figuring out if I have time on my hands even from Chicago and over a phone. Hopefully I will have some time at the bench again today.

Hey Tom...What you're putting up with is unconscionable. In another lifetime I did some divorce work and, based on what you're telling us, maybe it's time for me to blow the dust off some of the old stuff and get back into family law. Please pass this note on to Carole and have her give me a call. I think she's got a pretty good case.

Tom, sounds like your married to my wife. lol Don't forget to water the plants, sweep/mop the kitchen floor and make the bed.
Denny..... your just baddd...lol

What....I didn't mention the plants? I got those taken care of right after I mowed this morning. How did I forget to mention those darned plants.
I am being a good boy though and watering MY gardens. I picked tomatoes again today, for my supper. They'll go well with my freshly sliced cucumbers and another 3/4 pound hamburger steak piled high with sauted onions. Get all this good food eaten up before she gets home tomorrow evening. Then I'll be back on HER diet.

Sure sounds like you are doing it tough

I just picked a half dozen tomatos, a few cukes and another 5 quarts of beans and got them snapped and bagged. Then Ma called....uncanny timing with that woman. DON'T EAT THOSE TOMATOS! How'd she know I had the knife out of the drawer.? Oh well, I'll share with her tonight while she expounds on the thrills of ChiTown. Dishes are done and put away. Laundry done and put away. Vaccuum finito as is the wet wiping of the shiney floors. Lawn mowed. Flowers watered. I should be good to go. Maybe I'll chill a jug of her pet vino too. Nice guy that I am.
