Title: Bass Tube Colors
Post by: Muskygary on 08/09/13 17:40 UTC
When fishing bass tubes, you're ,trying to mimic a crawfish or minnow; so I use shades of white glimmer blue etc. For crawfish I always use watermelon/red, green pumpkin/black. What other color combinations have you had decent luck with?

On the Mississippi I have my best luck with Watermelon Brn/red flake and Black/blue flake...for both bass and walleyes.

With the really clear water we have been having in the fall, I've also done well with a light watermelon/black flake.

Did you find a hotel for your trip yet?

Looks like were going to pass on that trip for this year. Brother-in- laws can't make it this year. Looks like a super area, maybe next year.

Motor oil/orange is a good combo.  Watermelon red, watermelon candy, black/blue, junebug, and tomato have all produced fish for me.
