The space station just passed overhead here in Rochester. It took 2 minutes and 47 seconds to come and go from sight. What a beautiful sight on a warm summer night. It never ceases to amaze me what can be done with some thought. I was going to hit the sheets but I might sit up for the 48 minutes it takes for a full orbit and watch it pass again. I love watching that beast sail thru the night sky.

crom What kind of telescope do you use. mike

You don't need a telescope Mike. The station crosses the ski so bright its not funny. Brighter than any star or the moon, less bright than the sun. Always travels from west to east, this trip it was sort of a nw to slight se orbit.
