Title: DD Gill on DS?

Anyone ever fish the DD Gill on a drop shot? Nose hook? use wide gap? Just looking for ideas.. 

I just got some of the VMC spinshot with the wide gap hook for "power shooting". was thinking of trying it with the DD Gill.

  To me this bait is a little big for a drop shot. I normally Texas rig it side ways and have been thinking about making them with HD and see if it glides when fished weightless. But am interested in hearing if anyone uses this for a drop shot and how it works.

It weird.. Out here on the west coast there are a couple of guys that actually ds swimbaits.. That's what go me thinking about the DD gill originally

This is a pic i did a while back when i had the DD mold. the hook i used was a 1/0 vmc spin shot
