Fantastic looking sticks, Jay. The last time I was at Clear Lake I bought some similar looking baits. They were 5" laminates and appeared to have quite a bit of salt. They were manufactured by what seemed to be a small company out of Oregon. They cost about $6 for 5 baits. It was an outrageous price, but they looked so good I bought 3 packs. I bought them for the sole purpose of pouring them myself and just haven't gotten around to it yet. Your baits look equally as good as those I paid top dollar for. Good job.

Thanks for the boost of confidence denny,I fish a small lake at a state park here in north west virginia and I've only seen bluegills no minnows oh and lots of frogs which I've caught my fair share of bass on this year.

Chinook!!!!
Looks like a Chinook from the Great Lakes, great color pattern. would love to see it in a swim/minnow bait

Jay GREAT BAIT!!! Ghost Gill mike 8)

They are nice, the watermelon has great sparkle so something like "Brilliant melon pearl sensation". That name calls out both colors and shows that it is a laminate but a single name would have to be different, what could a pearl color be......How about "Arctic sunfish" or "Blizzard of gill". I know "ghost gill" sounds better and I would go with that I think but whatever you come up with they are going to be killer!!

Great color Jay! Those will do some damage for sure! Nice job!

Lake Superior has what are called "loopers" or Kamloops Rainbows stocked in it. Color-wise, I don't think I have ever seen a closer rendition of what they look like in a bait as what you have here. That greenish color with the heavy flake looks like the back of a looper while the belly color is a spittin image of a looper's belly.
