That is a very nice looking rod Mr Brent...  I especially appreciate the glow chartreuse wrap on the tip top, nice touch. Building a rod is a labor of love for sure.

The Nanofil... do you fish it as is, or tie on a fluoro/mono leader?  I'm just curious as I've found that stuff to be very easy to work with but still highly visible.  As a matter of fact the high visibility is one of the things I like about it especially when you're "line watching".

Super looking rod Bro'  keep up the good work.

Jerry~ I run an invisaswivel to mono, this allows me to float the plastics as Nanofil floats, Mono floats, the Invisaswivel is floro, and I use a 1/80 jig head, on a fry and run a Hellgie about a foot up from that depending on current or lake of, either plain hook or 1/80 jig head.

This also allows me to just replace the mono when worn.

MO~ I wasn't real sure about the foam but the quality has come a long way and everything was done to keep it classy and keep the weight so low.

That is AWESOME!!!!! The gold dust in the finish is a fantastic idea, it gives it that bling factor yet is still subtle, really nice design and it is great that you used a great blank with equally great components, nothing cheap on that bad boy, great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
