Well, as some of you know rainbow trout are kinda my trademark. So I figured I'll try to airbrush one.

Ray, you sound just like me about 3 weeks ago lol my old airbrush was a bottom feed and well it sucked. I couldn't even spray a solid color bait! I bought a iwata Neo (40 bucks) top cup gravity feed and wow what a difference.
I use nothing but ceatex paint and I don't thin my paint but for a couple colors and I thin with water. Pressure I use 50-8psi lol most paint will shoot great 10-25 psi.top cup brushes require a ton less pressure.
The key is ALWAYS clean the mess out your brush between colors and don't spray your bait EVER with out testing it. I play with my needle and psi on every color change. It might take me 5 minutes to get it perfect before I spray the bait.
I'm no expert. Drew Aka Dreamer, is the expert on all things airbrushed and unicorns ;D
If I can help just shoot me a pm -Terry

Now those are nice!!!!! The Game Day has a subtle color transition and I like that, the Rainbow trout is incredible but that Copper Crawgill is just off the hook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you got a good handle on it, I'd be jumping for joy if I could come close to being able to put down a paint job like that, just awesome work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
