Drew would have to have class in order for me to be in it  :P ( I'm waiting for my four letter text from Drew lol) Drew is still the man. He is all famous now since he is all his baits in magazines and all the pro shoulder rubbin . He call me the other day and when I answer he apologized he thought he dialed Aaron Martins number lol.
He has been giving me tips but I still have a long way to go

Thanks for the compliments, I use devcon  2 ton 30 minute epoxy. Dreamer turned me on to some new thinner stuff but I need to use my devcon stock pile before I buy a new epoxy.

You must be taking very large steps then Mo. The stick in the 4th picture down is flat out  an eye-burner.....I love it.

Thanks Ctom do you fish jerk baits much for eyes and if so what colors? We have some really big eyes  just not many in the lake I fish and I don't know much about their habits.

The stick I mentioned and the blue fat boy below it in the pictures would get pulled on a three way right about now in the tailwaters of the area dams. Cold sensitive weeds in the backwaters haven't begun to plague the trollers below the dams yet so the window for pulling cranks is still open. Another two weeks and there will be so much grass in the water that pulling anything is a headache.....that's when I vertical jig plastics or jig blade baits. Blades are going right now already.

I know one area dam that's seeing the huge schools of shad below it now. The next dam down the line will likely have that activity within the week. Those shad are the primary forage while they are there and the cranks being pulled thru the water on three-ways rigs take a huge number of fish.

The water temps in the lake above my pet dam and below the rollers of the dam have dropped to 44 and 47 degrees respectively, about 7 degrees since Tuesday. The fall and early winter festivities are going to be going full throttle very soon.

What is the thinner stuff. I've been using the 2 part epoxy but would like to try something different. I have tried clear out of the spray can but it just doesn't have that deep shine that epoxy gives it.

I have used many clears along the way, I currently use a 2 part epoxy based clear but I can't reveal my secrets. Devcon is great but can be thick, check out Bob Industries. They have some nice stuff.

No shame in my game, it's ugly as sin but as of now I can cure 44 cranks at a time!

Pretty is overrated.  Necessity is the mother of invention.
