Went to a craft show with my wife today and a lady who makes sheepskin slippers had bags of clean wool on the tanned hide and got this for $2!! This is gonna make some nice wool and satin jigs

fatman what is that stuff look like in the water I would think it would be kind of floaty but I would imagine it would have good action years ago my mother had champagne poodles and I would get to hear from her when she clipped the dogs that stuff was asked one it had a beautiful action.

From what I've read the wool is tied in and pinched and pulled to shape it into a minnow shap, the wool absords water and they work real well under a float. The satin strips that go over the wool is actually pretty cheap - I picked up 8 colors for $4 and change.

Those are some good looking ties Fatman, and judging by the original posted picture I think you may have scored a lifetime supply of tying material for a couple of bucks. SCORE ! good work.
