Title: Junk Pile Jig
Post by: smalljaw on 12/02/13 16:20 UTC
This jig is my junk jig I make every so often, it is made from scraps of leftover material that I put in a container and every now and again I pull some stuff out and see what kind of jig I can tie from it. This is a 1/16oz ball jig head with a size #2 hook, the color is watermelon. I tied in a dark olive rabbit strip for the tail and then hackle tied some medium olive UV marabou to surround the tail and then I added a few strands of pearl flashabou to each side and finished off with some rootbeer cactus chenille. I know the colors could match better but I did want to do this 100% from my scraps and I'm actually liking the rootbeer cactus chenille with the olive colors, I'm betting it would work with green pumpkin too.

for being scraps of feathers  and other material that you had lain around it looks a pretty good  good job on your jig.
