Title: Wicked Fastback Green
Post by: gone2long on 12/17/13 16:41 UTC
If you haven't tried it yet get to it this is one cool color, I ordered it last week and it came in Friday. The best way to describe it would be changeable like motor oil It's really nice it starts out as a shade of pearlescent blue but as you lay down the color it then takes on a metallic green and even heavier it turns to a shade of gold, I actually faded it down the side of the bait so I have all 3 colors. I'm in a cervical collar so I can only manage about 15-20 minutes at my paint booth man can't wait to get rid of this thing and get cracking. I'll try to post a pic in the morning but I'm going to bet it doesn't do it justice in the camera. If you go to Createx website you can pull up a color swatch of it there.

I love this color, use it on many patterns in many variations. Its fun to mix with other colors as well as thinning it down and spraying it over a candy base coat.

Sorry to hear about the brace, get better soon so you can throw some paint!

Not trying to jack the thread but here are a few patterns with FBG, tried to get different pics from different angles to try and show the transitions.

Dreamer, those are some crazy cool craw shell over-lays... do you use a homemade cut out from plastic or poster board, or something completely different?

I hand cut business cards with different shapes for different blanks/craw styles. Then basically hold them to the blank and freehand the lines in where I want them. Glad you like em, thanks!

Tom I get them from multiple sources, inside and outside the US.

Bass Kid, the best way to answer your question. All of them.

That's a nice looking bait.
I've painted crankbaits using these: http://www.spazstix.com/airbrush-paint/color-change
Excellent paint and you get some really cool effects.
