Throw in a few jigs and that should settle the boat down in the water.

Looks nice! I have the same problems. I also organize my hardbaits the same way. The only problem is deciding what to take in the boat. I also have boxes for certain lakes and different times of the year (spring, summer, night, fall boxes). But look at it this way, were helping out the economy!!

I don't have time for organization.  I have some of the plastic bins from the dollar store and throw everything in there.   ;D

Oh yeah and my swim box.
And a gallon bag of mix trailers.

And a very big box of everything else plastic.  Lol.  Soon to have four crank boxes full of. Drews cranks. And mo 's.  Couple of mine. But they don't look as good as the other ones.

I have gone away from trays for plastics in my boat.  Everything is in bags; then 3 containers for the bags (lights, darks, in between) that's it; surplus is hanging on the peg rack in the basement.  I have trays for Hard baits & terminal tackle.

Keeping things simple; keeps my bait in the water.

I use to fish like that but the last ten years I've changed my way of thinking. I have a Ranger Z519 and the problem with it is it has to much storage. If I fill it up with baits then at a tournament all day long I'm thinking about which bait I should use. Maybe they'll bite this bait better. Then before you know it I'm switching baits instead of fishing. Oh I have boxes of tackle at home but I leave most of it there. I have five poles for most of the year in my boat. Two flipping rods, two spinning rods, and one spinnerbait rods that doubles for top water. I will add two crank bait rods in the fall. I've seen guys with 15 rods on their deck. I have no idea how they fish that way. The problem with getting hooked on bass tournament fishing is it's rare you ever just go fun fish for other fish. You're always thinking about the next tournament. I never just go fish for numbers, I'm always looking for five good fish. Five 12 to 13 inch fish just put you in the mix with everyone else.

Well said Lamar.  We should go fish together. I believe we would hit it off.

I have cousins that live in Columbus IN. Maybe we can hook up when I'm over there.

Organization saves you time on the water. I have a bag for pan fish, Bass, walleye, musky, and trolling. The ability to make what ever color you want and a bait that is not mass produced is what puts more fish in the boat. I can safely say we're all a little nuts when it comes to making soft plastic baits and or lures. And most of us do it to have something different.  Mike 8)
