Here's a couple of tiny rabbit zonker ties. The pic of the orange one bites but the rabbit is the same color as the jig head.
Both are 1/32nd oz. heads with gold #10 mustad hooks

The head on the left is ruby red slipper - the right is white pearl base coat with ruby red slip tapped on top

I like the pearl white with the ruby red drizzled on the top. I love that fading effect you get doing colors as such.

Can I ask what you fish with them? A #10 hook is small even for bluegill. Those are a nice tie; full skirt; but why the #10?
-
Most of my bluegill flies I tie on a size 10..or even a 12
-
Basically cause I wanted to try a zonker strip that small and because I hand cut some and thought I screwed them up. I've caught trout and even bullhead which surprised me.
-
I can see crappies in a snit hitting those. Certainly bluegills.
I keep going back to the picture and looking at the colors. lol Imagine what a fish thinks.
-
The fish thinks - Lunch!. Where did you find the tiny orange rabbits? ;D
-
Those are super nice ties, I thought maybe you were using them in a special fishing situation and I'm always looking for any tricks of the trade I can pick up.

pmj - had a chunk I got in a swap box. But now I got the Hairline rabbit hide variety pieces pack

MG - Same here whatever I can pick up to fool the fish!!

Very nice Fatman!!!! Are they new ones? I don't remember seeing those. I can't use rabbit on those small jigs, great work as usual!!
-
No not new. Take a regular crosscut clamp it down and stretch it. Put a metal ruler on half of it and cut real slow and you'll have tiny zonker strips - it doesn't take much to fill the hook!!!! Then I use my little velcro tool and comb them out.
