You know... that time of year when you find yourself watching Playoff Football on TV only wishing that it wasn't a negative billion degrees outside and there's nothing else to do but try to catch up on those Fly Ties you've been putting off. THAT TIME OF YEAR.
It all spells the depths of Winter in Iowa to me and I have to remind myself that I need to appreciate every season for what it is and take advantage of these things that are put before me.(like it or not) THIS is my time to catch up on Fly Ties and today I finally gathered the ambition to put some other things aside and begin that arduous task of replenishing the Fly Box.

Now I've only got a few dozen more to make before I move on to another pattern... if you'll please excuse me.

Doesn't get much better than that, Jerry. Brings back good memories.

Awesome, but how in the crud do you see to tie those little rascals? Much respect for all the bug makers out there

Awesome fly! I might have to try that one when I get back to my vice.

That is AWESOME!!!!!! You are extremely skilled at the vise, I wish I could tie flies even though I don't fly fish, but if you can tie a fly then that is talent and you have it for sure, great looking fly in any ones book!!!!!!

Very nice guys! I need to get back to painting... but I think I need to plan an ice fishing trip and check out Do-It's place! Any good lakes close to you guys? I'm in central Iowa, so I can make a weekend of it...
