How long should I leave the plastisol cooking in microwave?

In mine i can cook 8oz in 2min25 sec if its a little cooler 2min30-35 sec. The micro I have is 1100watt.

It all depends on the micro.  Mine does 4oz in 2 mins on power level 8. I like cooking low and slow.  What are you using right now?

You should heat it in several cycles you should not try to achieve pourability in 1 or 2 shots remember that a microwave cooks from the inside out so stirring is critical to make your plastic uniform and to prevent scorching, if this happens do not allow yourself to breathe the vapors they are very harmful to your lungs I suggest a respirator. Doing this will help reduce the chances of micro bubbles and inconsistent pours. This is just my 2 cents ;)

i always do mine: 1 minute, 30, 30, 30 then add my colorant or glitter, then another 20 and it seems to work for me. taking time and stirring in short increments may seem like a pain but so is scorched plastic. money in the trash…
