Title: Vibrating Jig
Post by: BigHawgBaits on 02/11/14 13:03 UTC
I have been asked to make a vibrating jig for a couple folks. Now I have a few questions.
First what head or heads work good for this?
Second bubble hole or not?
I am thinking 3/8 and 1/2 in size any others I should look at?

I personally like 3/8 oz and with bubble holes.

A lot of different heads you can use, there are heads pre poured from Barlows that have an open wire to put the blade on or you can pour your own and use a split ring or even double split ring to attach a blade.

I make them with a Do-it casting jig... just heat the hook eye and barely open it with a side cutter before placing in mold.  Cast without weed guard and paint.  Then slip the blade in the gap and pinch it down... use bubble holes on 3/8 and solid for 1/2.
