Could I make a silicone mold for soft plastics that's made for an injector ???? Would this work? Trying to find something better than pop.. Thanks :)

It will work only if you have set up your silicone mold for injection.  You have to make a hard outter shell for it.  and put the vents in the right spots.  But yes it is possible.

 I've made a couple injection molds with rtv. They work fine. I clamp the molds between a couple 1/8" steel plates when injecting.. ------Tim.

RTV is a type of silicone....withstands some serious temps. RTV is a common mold making compound. Durable and flexible.

RTV = Room Temperature Vulcanizing.  Not all RTV silicones are the same.  The 2-part stuff from LureCraft or M-F or Barlows is pretty good but expensive, yet sets overnight.  1-part high-temp RTV can be had in tubes like caulk/grease but takes a LOT longer to set.

If I buy any RTV again, it'll be from Hobby Silicone.

Some guys make molds from PoP, but I like the extra Hardness and Durability of Durhams Rock Hard Water Putty.  I seal mine with Clear Engine Spray Paint.  Durhams is killer and cheap...it's just hard, not flexible like silicone.

Yeah I bought some and im working on some oven bake clay baits i designed to make the molds.

This is a detailed video on how to create a two part mold that is a lot easier than you would think. In the video they design an open pour mold, the only difference for you would be to add the spru, runner and vents. Adding those three things is very simple, and we are here to help if you need us.

I DONT OWN STOCK IN THIS COMPANY BUT SMOOTHON.COM HAS A EASY MIX 1-1 SILICONE THAT IS PRETTY GOOD ATLEAST I LIKE IT ITS MOLD STAR 15,IVE USED IT TO REPLICATE HARD BAITS AND I'M WITH YOU ON THE INJECTION IDEA AND I HAVE SOME MASTERS MADE AND IN DEVELOPMENT BUT HAVENT HAD THE TIME TO EXPERIMENT MORE.THE SILICONE LINE HAS DIFFERENT SETTING TIMES AND I USUALLY GET THE MOLD STAR 15 AND IT SETS I 4 HOURS COMPAIRED TO MINIMUM OF 16 HOURS THAT ALOT OF SILICONS REQUIRE........
