Title: Forum Member of The Month Februrary 2014
Post by: Jerry V on 03/01/14 13:21 UTC
March, in most cases, tends to bring with it a sense of hope.  Hope for Spring, and warmer weather.  Hope for open water and the pursuit of fishes in temperatures that are to some degree less than arctic.  Most generally March for me brings a notion that winter is nearly over and better things are just around the corner.  THIS IS NO SUCH MARCH.  I submit a photo of my back yard dated March 1, 2014....  I don't see a lot of hope.

It is STILL snowing and we're expecting 3-5 inches again today.  Spring will happen, I've faith, but it certainly seems to be taking it's own sweet time.

It is that time Y'all to name another Forum Member of the Month.  We've had plenty of interaction here in the past days and are appreciative of all the regular participation.  With so many players in the mix it makes it difficult for any one to stand out, however this months recipient does stand out a bit and I believe that you all will agree that we are much better off having people like him among us.

He hasn't been around here as long as many of you (or even me) but his youthful enthusiasm for making his own tackle and willingness to share it with all of the "experts" here makes him a valuable part.  Not only to this E-water cooler, but the fishing community in general.  I am more than pleased to offer this months reward to jmatheny9  You are the proud new owner of a $50 credit toward your next purchase of Do-It Molds or Do-It Soft Baits products.  Please PM, Email or call me with your order and I will make it happen.

Thank you all,

Jerry

That's cool!

But he's going to have a heck of a time figuring out what mold to buy!

Congratulations,  Just be glad you don't live as far north as Jerry V.   I had to cut some of the winter grass around the trees today.  Short sleeve T shirt and light weight pants.  Little windy to fish.

Way to go, Jeremiah.  You deserve it.  Now, I know you're young and haven't learned all the finer points in dealing with Do-It yet.  Let me help.  Follow these instructions carefully:

1.  Choose a mold.

2.  Call Jerry and let him know what you need.  Have the item number handy.

3.   I'm the quality control technician for Do-It so make sure Jerry sends the mold to me for testing.  I'll run it through through the wringer to make sure it meets Do-It's standards and will then send it on to you.

4.  THIS IS IMPORTANT:  Make sure you PalPal me the shipping charges.

There's no need to thank me.  I'm happy to help.

Denny fails to mention that he's only the QCT for the tiny ice bait molds like the nano fry and the ice pick. I test baits 3-6", Justin tests the big boys over 6", and Tom of course tests crappie molds and all colorants, glitters, hilites, etc.  Make sure you paypal the appropriate party for the shipping charges. ;)

you could always send some of those 3-6" for me to test!

Thanks everyone!

And I don't think so Denny! When I order it, I want it fast :p
