If you had to take a guess at how to recreate this color, where would we begin?
After we pour the plastic in the cup... :D

First thought in my mind -
watermelon smoke with silver micro gltter with a clear belly.
maybe 1 drop per 4oz - possibly less.

Looks like some black glitter in there as well on my viewer.

This is how I'd do it.
Make a thin smoke maybe 3 drops non x2 black to 4oz
There is micro green and micro silver. I'm guessing 1/64 tsp micro green then 1/128 tsp silver. There is also black micro and that looks to be 1/16 tsp or maybe a touch more. It kind I looks like there is a tinyyyyy bit of a gold glitter too?
So that's your top. Now the bottom I'd do 1/2 to 1 drop of non x2 white in 4oz then add a touch of pearl powder.
So that is where I'd start for sure lol. Unless you're using HDA :( then it's gonna be tough to get that top right

I can blow this up pretty big on my iPod. Looks to me like .015 black and .015 chartreuse glitters in the top. Green smoke pearl might be where I start for color, maybe a little extra smoke- it looks quite grey with just a hint of green. Belly is greenish, might be from the top color shining through or might be pearl with a touch of green smoke pearl. Nothing beats seeing the real thing, I'll try to remember to check it out next time I'm shopping.

belly color is clear - look at the tail -
the 'black' you see in the glitter is likely the silver glitter at an angle - but I do like the idea of several micro glitters in there.
clicked on the pic and made it bigger (duh!) - agree now on the chart/green glitter and black.

When the picture is enlarged, look carefully at the middle section of the worm and you can see a very definite split from a pearl to clear in the belly color. Forward more and the clear tapers off into nothing while watching the back of the worm shows the clear phasing the pearl out.

any ideas on how to get that? I see what you're talking about now that I know what to look at

This bait has to go thru some weird processes to finish it. While it is enlarge scroll all the way to the left and down and notice the flat tag at the very end-bottom. That suggests an open mold. But then look at the same view only to the right and you can see a definite pair of clear bands that suggest a dip. Those bands go all the way around the bait's body, hence the idea of a dip. I'm thinking it might be easier to buy this one that to try and replicate it.

Just a guess from looking at the picture, but that has to be real close. I will try some drop shads that color tomorrow and throw some pictures up

I would go with this.
If that pic is of a Roboworm, then its probably a three color lam.

I've been using small amounts of Glow Powder as colorant lately, not trying to make the bait Glow. These small amounts of Glow Powder add "clouding" similar to that of salt, but without the bait weakening like salt does.
.just my $0.10.

Im with Bill on this one.. the first pic appears to be a roboworm and is a 3 color lam. the second pic is not the same worm and I think school master has a pretty good recipe.
