Here ya go. This little puppy is smack on at 1.5" and is the perfect size for sunfish and neutral crappies. I'll be teaming these up with 1/32 collarless heads cast on #8 sickles as soon as the ice retreats enough to give me some open water.

How do you fish these?

Cool! Did you make those by cutting off part of a larger bait by chance?

A 2" Flapjack tail mold was shot with chartreuse, then the tails cut back about 1/4". I put the tails back in the mold and shot one set in orange and the other in the blue. I trimmed these off the sprue where one normally would then added the eyes and cover dip. Really simple mold and these baits are a snap.
Jer...I plan to fish these on a 1/32 head without a collar and cast on a #8 sickle hook. They'll get cast and retrieved without a float.

Take the eyes off; rotate 90 degrees; colors black, motor oil, chemelon and fish them like a reaper!! Used to catch a bunch of bass in the spring off of small reapers.

That would work too Gary. My next shot using black or heavy smoke is going to include a few to fish just like that.

I like the look of those a lot. They look like they were meant to be that size. I have been messing around with pouring heads on skinny carrot tails that have been split in half to make a small leech type bait. http://custombaits.com/gallery/medium_879-240314193016.jpeg (http://custombaits.com/gallery/medium_879-240314193016.jpeg)
