Title: .22 stock
Post by: jmatheny9 on 04/04/14 10:53 UTC
I've been working on wood burning this for a couples months now ( I rarely get time) and figured I'd show the starts of it. But end is going to be an elk on one side and trout on the other. The rest will be a snakeskin pattern(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/04/7equpebu.jpg)(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/05/y4e4y2eh.jpg)

Don't mind the bright shoes either haha

THAT is about as cool as it gets.  Nice work, and I can't wait to see the final product.

Nice job!! How do you like wood burning? It's a hobby that I've always wanted to get into but I have too many hobbies already that I can't find time for. It's always fascinated me.

its pretty fun but sometimes challenging to get shades or textures right. I recommend doing it though

That is super! Is all of that art work freehand? Now just don't fall down and scrape it up while your hunting!

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty excited to see what a finish will do to it. And muskygary, it's all freehand except for that scale pattern. I was used a leaf shaped tip on the burner for that one. Otherwise just a round tip :)
